The Sweetest Thing Challenge

It's time again for a The Sweetest Thing Challenge.  As always, it's a sketch challenge.

Here is my entry for the challenge.  It is a card for my sister.  If you've visited my blog in the past, you probably know that my twin sister is pregnant.  In the middle of the final touches of planning her baby shower, I remembered I needed to make a card for her.... and then I remembered this challenge.

Two birds, one stone.... always the best plan for a busy mom like me! :O)


The sentiment reads:  "A wee bit of heaven drifted down from above, a handful of happiness, a heart full of love."

Here is the side view and you can see the matching paper peeking out of the inside.

I don't think you can tell from the pics, but the three dots on the left of the sentiment are three blue rhinestones. The ribbon is light blue gros grain ribbon. The scallop on the bottom is black velvet ribbon. The blue checkered paper is the same paper I used on her baby shower invites.

  2. Georgiana, I have favors up the waazoo! I am also doing a diaper fund raffle with prizes including whole packs of handmade Christmas cards!! Lots of work!
