Today I have a "Love You" banner to share.  This is the very first banner I've made and I just love how it turned out. My Anniversary is also on February 14th, so I like to make projects for Valentine's day that can represent both events we are celebrating that day.  Here I have a 12 heart banner, strung together with an adorable off white lace.

Here you can see the gel pen "stitching" and the Stickles I added to the
scallops on the red heart. You can also see the adorable lace I strung the banner with.

I added pop dots to the layer under the white hearts on the letters only.

I made a total of five spacer hearts.  All have the rhinestone
 accents but all are a little different.

The scallop hearts are cut at 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"

And the off white hearts are cut at 4 1/4" x 4"

The letters are 2" (plus the matching shadow)

The rhinestones are from the dollar bin at Craft Warehouse

The "Stickles" are Studio G Glitter Glue

I used my Crop-a-Dile to punch the holes to hang the hearts

I also cut cardboard recycled from frozen pizza boxes (cereal boxes would work great too).  The cardboard layers are behind the red scallop hearts and behind the off white hearts.  It really adds a lot of rigidity to the whole banner.  It sure is strong enough to put away and reuse year after year.

Here is the Gypsy cut file if you'd like it. Just two cartridges in use : Doodlecharms and Simply Sweet.  I even rename all my Gypsy layers to tell you exactly which colors each layer is.
