Recipe Cards

If you haven't yet, please take a second to enter my 400 follower giveaway!

I was super thrilled when I jumped over to More Than Favors today!! Paula posted the new Cricut Cartridge Chaos Challenge was to use From My Kitchen!!

While I've had this cartridge for awhile now, I've only used it once before I did this project. I made this recipe card for a swap over at Queen of My Craftroom.

I cut the pot and all it's layers at 4".  I even cut the handles and lid top using silver metallic paper. I love the way it shines but it sure is tough to photograph!

I made a 4" x 6" recipe card creating the card shape with my Gypsy. I welded the two sides together to make the card. I love that there is a little tab to put the recipe name.

Here you can see how it opens up to reveal the ingredients and directions.  They are both printed using Pristina font at 20 points. I love how easy it is to read!! :)

I matted each side of the recipe with some Cloud 9 paper.

Here is a close-up of the front.  I added white gel pen stitches and rhinestones too.
Can you see the pattern on the pink bg paper? It's subtle but so cute!

Here is the sentiment block I made.  I think it's cute... my hubby thinks it's corny! :)  I punched it out with my EK Success Journaling punch after printing it, again using Pristina font.
