This is the second card like this that I've made. The first was for Tracy @ CraftJunkieToo's birthday blog hop. This version is very similar... except it features Spanish sentiments.
My boys are friends with some wonderful little boy's in our neighborhood. I know their Mom's birthday is coming up so we made her this card. She doesn't speak much English as all, so I thought I'd make her a Spanish card.
I pulled this pitcher from County Life. I welded it so I could make it into an Easel card. I adore easel cards and used to make them more often... I've been trying to get back into them! :)
Using Bow font, I created the sentiment with Photoshop. I used Google Translate (because I don't speak Spanish) for both the outside and inside sentiment. This one say's Happy Birthday. I added some super cute green and white twine around the pitcher.
I cut the flowers for the pitcher in pink, purple and teal. I also added some extra flower layers using an EK Success punch and little yellow flower brads.
How cute is that?? I love how this little card stands up! :)
I added the sentiment using pop dots after punching it with an EK Success Punch called Journaling tags. This sentiment says "Have a wonderful day!" One more flower finishes off the inside.

So cute...I'll bet that she'll love it! Lee-Ann :)
