Crayon Back to School Note

Today is another Craft Junkie Too Design Team day. I can't even begin to tell you how much I love being on Tracy's Design Team!! Her awesome assignments are just a small part of it.  The challenge for this week is:

Back to School FUN!!

My 6 year old will be starting the 1st grade, so this card is for him...

My 8 year old will be starting 3rd grade. 

As you can see I mounted these card super simply...
 just a white A2 card base with a red mat.

I created these images by scanning in a box of crayons... then I added my own text (after erasing the Crayola stuff).  I went online and downloaded a font called "Porky's" that was the closest match to the Crayola font I could find. Then I placed the wording onto the crayon box (complete with the colored outlines on the lettering).  These are super quick printables (once they are created)... I just totally fell in love with them.

In fact I loved them soooo much, I made one for each grade
 (Pre-school through 6th) ..... to share with you.

    This is fantastic! So clever to scan a crayon box and the personalization is such a sweet touch. I love the font.. it just looks like it belongs on a children's creation.
