Cupcake Trio Card

I made this adorable cupcake trio card today.  It's a 4" x 9" card (standard business size) and will fit into a #10 envelope with no extra postage required.

The little cupcakes are from Sweet Treats (all cut at 3"). I embossed all the "chocolate" tops with the D'Vine Swirls embossing folder. the top are mounted up on pop dots.

I just HAD to adorn the pink decorations with some Stardust Stickles too.

This is an easel card that is propped up on a stopped strip I made with some scraps of the card base layers.  The pink (scraps from the cupcake decorations) is cut to 1 1/2" and punched with the Threading Water Fiskars punch, then a 1" stripe of brown paper and a 3/4" stripe of cream.  I added white gel pen stitches to the brown layers and popped the whole strip up on 1/4" pop dots.

See how nice it stands up? :)


I added three white buttons off to the left and combined two sentiments from a Scrappy Mom's Stamp set.
