Diary of a Wimpy Kid : Goody Bags

In case you missed the last few days on my blog, I am sharing a few goodies from my son's recent Diary of a Wimpy Kid birthday party.
If you'd like to see the invites (complete with free files) please see this post:
This is a quick look at the goody bag contents. Aside from a granola bar, fruit snacks, a couple pieces of candy, each kid will be taking handmade goodies that go along with Bryce's Diary of a Wimpy Kid Party Theme.

Each kid will get this super useful gift in their bag. It's a double sided bookmark. It has a comic from the Diary of  a Wimpy Kid book on one side and a "thank you" greeting on the other. I laminated these to last and added a piece of black cording for the string.

These little tags are the name tags for the goody bags. On this side it says "this bag belongs to:" and the child's name. On the other side it has the child's address so it can be attached to a back pack or lunch bag later on ( also laminated these so help them last). The cute little lolly pops came from Party City and I just added the character images using my printer and a 1 1/2" punch.

Here is the bottle cap necklace. I bought the bottle caps at the craft store, printed and punched the image and coated it with Glossy Accents.  I tossed these into a small Ziplock baggie, added a necklace cord and key chain so each child could choose to add it to a back pack or wear it.

Here are the diary's each kid will be reciving... I went to http://www.wimpyourself.com/ to create custom "wimpy kid" characters for all the kids. My son, Bryce. had a great time choosing all the perfect features for all his cousins / friends. We added these to an inexpensive notebook.  With the addition of a pen and a little quote from Greg Heffley, this gift was done.

If you missed it about making "stinky cheese", check out yesterday's post by scrolling down. :)

These are 1 1/2" images, they are perfect for the lolly pop decorations but would also make PERFECT cupcake toppers too.

These are the 1" images for the bottle cap necklaces.  I just print these out, punch them with a 1" punch and adhere them to the bottle caps with some Glossy Accents.
