Gobble 'til you wobble

Today marks the start of another Die Cuttin' Diva's challenge. This week's theme is

"Strut your stuff... make a project
using a turkey theme."

I just love this little turkey from Create a Critter (cut a 2 3/4"). I created this A2 (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") card base using Kraft card stock. Then I layered some black cardstock and then some patterned paper from the Fall/Halloween Stack from DCWV.

Unopened the card looks like a standard card. I used my Corner Chomper (1/2" side) to round the top corners. A simple scalloped border punch dresses the center of the card along with a strip of orange satin ribbon.

I love adding gel pen stitches to most any project and this one is no exception. Here you can see a peak of the adornments inside too.

I just love how the little leaves hold up the easel portion of the card. I really helps tie in the leaves on top too.

With a senitment like "Gobble 'til you wobble!" I couldn't resist adding an Action Wobble under the turkey!

I love these little leaves. I bought these at Craft Warehouse... a big pack for only $1.99. I tied a bow in the same satin orange ribbon as I used on the card base. To get the symmetrical bow, I always use my Bow-Easy.

Here is the sentiment block. I created it in Photoshop using "Pea Zingy" font at 36 and 26 points. More gel pen stitching and decorative silk leaves finish off the inside.
Feel free to download this sentiment file. Simply click on it to open the larger preview, then right click and select "save as". It was just so cute, I couldn't resist sharing it with all you wonderful crafters out there.

We'd love if you jumped over to Die Cuttin' Divas to join in the challenge this week. The prize sponsor this week is CricutDirect.com.
