Pull up Birthday Cake Card

I have a super fun but experimental card to share today. I've made pull up cards in the past, my flower pot card for example. I thought why not make one with a tiered cake??  So here is the card I came up with.
I went with a super simple color scheme for my trial card.  I only used chocolate brown and cream. After I cut out all the layers, I embossed the brown layer with the Perfectly Paisley Cuttlebug Folder.

The little scallops cut with the cake.  This tiered cake is from the Sweet Treats cartridge, I cut it at 5 1/2" and added the special touch that the two bottom tiers are a pocket to hold the sentiment slip (attached to the top tier). The slip out sentiment piece measure 2 1/4" x 5 1/4".

Here you can see how the piece slips out of the top of the cake.  You also get a great look at all the rhinestones! :)  There are lots of those!

I added the little banners to each tier of the cake.  All stamps are Scrappy Mom's stamps.  I traced the shape of the banner with some Studio G glitter glue.

This is kind of a funny picture, but I wanted you to be able to see the embossing on the cake and the dimension I added to the flags.  I glued one end of the banner and squished it up a little before gluing the other end. The biggest surprise on this card is that I didn't use any gel pen or pop dots! :)

I do have a gypsy file for this card and am totally willing to do a tutorial if I get enough interest! :)  Just let me know by leaving me a comment.
