Stack-o-Pumpkins Card

Today I have this fun card to share with you.  All cuts are from Create a Critter (gotta love that cart). I created this shaped card on my Gypsy. I layered the shadow layers on my Gypsy so I was sure it will fit in an A2 (4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card) envelope. All paper except the white card base, is from my scraps.

The top pumpkin is 2", the middle pumpkin is 2 1/2" and the bottom pumpkin is 2 3/4". I inked the edges of the leaves with black ink, the pumpkins with orange ink and then added shadows with black ink.

This little "Happy Halloween" stamp is from an old Close to My Heart stamp set.

I added these cute little tendrils to the pumpkins for vines by twirling little strips of paper around my paper piercer. I glued them to the pumpkins to help them stay in place.

I created the shape card to fold from the top so it can stand on it's own.  I love being able to display a card after I receive it! :)

  3. This is awesome! I love how you made it still be able to stand on its own, I always have that problem when I try to make a shaped cards and I love having mine on display! Did you just overlap the shadows of the pumpkins first and weld them together, then cut out the fronts of them? Thanks!

  4. Cheryl this is really cool! I got my gypsy, but I haven't learned how to weld yet. I can't wait to have the time to sit down and play with it and learn how to use it! You did a great job on this card! love it!
