Today is the start of a new challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas. It's a color challenge this week:
black, orange, purple and green.
black, orange, purple and green.
I used a mix of cartriges for this card... none of which were Halloween Carts! :)
The hat and broom are from Paper Doll Dress up (hat cut at 5 1/4" and the broom at 4 3/4"), the socks are from County Life (cut at 2 3/4") and the spider is from Doodlecharms (cut at 1"). I used my Gypsy to create this tall shaped card by welding a couple of rectangles (measuring 4" x 5 3/4") to the bottom of the witch's hat to from at 4" x 9" card base.
This cute little Halloween sentiement is a Studio G stamp punched with an EK Success Photo Label punch. I added some white gel pen stitches and black Glaze gel pen stitches too. The little spider is mounted on pop-dots and finished off with some red rhinestone eyes.
I added a purple band to the witches hat. All the layers (everything except the card base) were pulled from my scrap bin... how great is that!
I hung these adorable witch's socks from some black twine. A layer of pop dots keep them in place. The orange polka dot and Halloween striped paper is from a .97 cent paper pack from Walmart.
Here is the inside of the card. I love the little broom. I added some of the same purple paper to finish off the inside of the card after I printed the sentiment
"Witching you a very happy Halloween!"
I hope you will take the time to jump over to Die Cuttin' Divas to enter the color challenge this week!
