The Love Filled Christmas Tree

I am so happy to share this challenge with you today.
The challenge over at Paper Playtime is:

"Make any paper project about something you love, for someone you love, using a technique you love..... you get the picture.  Interpret this theme any way you like."

My entry is a wonderful little ornament that I totally fell in love with.  The tree is build with 1" hearts from Plantin Schoolbook (turned upside down) and the base is a 4" tree cut from Christmas Cheer and it's all topped off with a 1" star also from Christmas Cheer.

This is how I built the trees with the hearts.

Here is the completed, undecorated tree.
I decorated the tree with some fall colored brads
and strung the ornament together.

This is what the tag says, in case you can't read it:

The Love Filled Christmas Tree

My Christmas tree is full of love,
All this love, sent from above.
A star and angels lead the way,
To celebrate Jesus on his day.
Many gathered to see his gift,
Where hearts and songs began to lift.
Now when our hearts come together,
We remember his story now and forever.

Here is a link to a PDF I made so you can make your own
Love Filled Christmas Trees.

This PDF includes 12 poems on one sheet... so craft away.
