Hand-drawn Snowman Cards

Today is "Family Friday" over at Crazy About Cricut
The assignment is to make a snow or snowman project with your kids.

Here is my snowman/snow project submission.  I just fell in love with them!!

First I had my kids draw out a snowman scene.

Bryce's drawing
Owen's drawing

When they were finished, I scanned the image and they used Photoshop to color in the images.  I then added their names and dates and set up a page to print four at a time onto card stock.  Once we cut the drawings apart we had four card fronts finished. Of course you could print out as many as you want (four at a time). I'm sure my boys will want to print some more as soon as I finish this posting!! :)

We mounted the card fronts onto a red mat and then onto a card body.

We added a "to" and "from" stamp to the inside and my boys stamped their own personalized stamps on the back.

TA DA!! We have hand drawn personalized cards for my boys to give to Grandparents, teachers etc.  I just LOVE the finished cards!!

I hope you love them too!! :)

That's the coolest idea - and the boys did such a great job! Hope they do much more of them so we can all enjoy those too. Merry Christmas, Cheryl!

WOW! I love your kid's drawings. These look just like cards you would find at a store. The stamp is perfect on the back.

Happy Holidays,
Georgiana
