True Love Frame

I have entered a project in the challenge over at Paper Playtime in the past... but it's been a little while.  Now that the craziness of the holidays are over, I am hoping to pick up on challenges again!! YEAH!! :)

The challenge over at Paper Playtime this week is

So a little back story for you:  My hubby and I will be celebrating 10 years together this year.  We met on February 17th, 2001.

We've been super happy together, had two little boys (Sept of 2002 and Dec of 2004) and finally got married on February 14th, 2005 (yes, after both of our sons were born). We talked about it for a while and decided to combine Valentines Day and our anniversary which sounded awesome at the time.  In hindsight, we'd have done it differently.  We are ALWAYS asked to do some kind of extended family event on V-day so we can never celebrate on our actual anniversary! :(

Here is a frame with mirror I made for my hubby (okay, more for me).  I bought the frame at IKEA, covered it in Heidi Grace paper and added the sentiment.

Sorry about the glare... mirrors are HORRIBLE to photograph!!!

The sentiment is using Gypsy Font.  It reads "True Love" on the top and "Ten years down, forever to go!" on the bottom.

As you can see I added a shadow under the sentiment.

Here is a closeup of the paper.  It has random love words and includes glossy words too.

Here you can see the back of the frame / mirror.  It is Malma from IKEA and measures 10" x 10" so it fits a piece of scrapbook paper with little waste. :)

Thanks so much for visiting me here at CardsbyCG.blogspot.com.  I'd love to hear what you think.  Feel free to become a follower or sign up for my email updates (provided through FeedBurner).  I'd love to share my crafting journey with you! - Cheryl
