Embossed Cupcake Gift Card Holder

I just love the challenges over at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge!! This week is no different! It's EMBOSSING!!! :)

If you want to see the tutorial (complete with Gypsy cut files) for this card, please click here.  I made it last week and fell so in love with it, that I had to make more. This particular card is for a classmate of my 6 year old.  He was invited to her party but we won't be able to go. :(

This is the whole card unopened.  I used paper from Nana's Kids (DCWV)
and white glitter paper (DCWV). All cupcake cuts are from Sweet Treats.

The cherry is from Create a Critter.  First I coated the cherry in glitter glue to match the cupcake top.  After the glitter glue dried we put Glossy Accents on the cherry bottom only.

Before assembling, the cupcake top went through the D'vine Swirls embossing folder.

I doubled up the ribbon (one larger sheer paired with a thin silk ribbon)
and tied it on the cupcake wrapper.

Here is the cupcake all opened up, you can see the cute stamp ($1 section at M's) and the matching gift card pocket.  If you want to make a cupcake gift card holder card too, go here for my Gypsy file! :)

I am also entering this card into a challenge over at
Scrapbookaholic by Abby.  Her challenge is to use the color pink.
