Teacher Plaques

I am popping in to say hi and to share a project my kids helped design. We made these plaques for my boys to give to their teachers for Valentine's Day.

I really hope they'll enjoy them!! I love to hear what you think about them too.

For my kinder-gardener's teacher...

And my second grader's teacher.

They both have the teacher's name in the middle, cut in black vinyl using Plantin Schoolbook (the size varies depending on the length of the name).  I cut them with my Gypsy so I could get them as large as possible.

The white vinyl is Simply Sweet font cut at (I think) 3/4".  It reads:

"To teach a child is to touch a future."

The frame is one I picked up at a local craft store called "Craft Warehouse." I know this is just a regional store (in just the North West USA I think).  The frame is black and is distressed and includes the fixed glass inside.

I just love them... I hope the teachers will love them too.
I have a third special plaque to share,
but I'll wait until my other favorite teacher gets it!! :)

Thanks so much for visiting me here at  I'd love to hear what you think.  Feel free to become a follower or sign up for my email updates (provided through FeedBurner).  I'd love to share my crafting journey with you! - Cheryl

Cheryl, these are wonderful, I love it. I know the teachers are going to feel very special getting them. I looooove Craft Warehouse, I also live in Vancouver and it's actually my favorite of the craft stores, they are so friendly there!
