Vellum Window Anniversary Card

In honor of Jen's 1-year blogaversary over at Purple Scrapbooker, I made this very purple anniversary card.
The "Happy Anniversary" sentiment is from Beyond Birthdays - sized to 4" tall. I welded the shadow sentiment into the frame and put that onto a #10 business sized card base (9" x 8" and scored at 4").

I added a layer or vellum to the card base and then put the frame on, followed by the black shadow layer and the purple sentiment layer.  All patterned paper is from the DCWV Stack 7 pack, the card stock is Bazzil textured card stock.

I added three little flowers with button centers.  The largest flower is 3/4" from Plantin School book, the white and small purple flower are from an EK Success bitty-blossoms punch. I tied the buttons with a little white craft twine before attaching them with hot glue.

Here you can see how the window looks from the inside of the card. I love how simple but complicated - looking this card is! :)

I went ahead and made one in blue too.

These are relatively easy to make but are oh-so-pretty when assembled.
