Today marks the start of another challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas.
This week the challenge is:
Rosettes, Ribbons and / or Rhinestones
Here is the cute little inspiration card I made for this week's recipe challenge. The paper is from Echo Park's Summer Days 6" x 6" paper pad. I just love the colors and polka-dots are a real favorite of mine right now.
This rosette is 1 1/2" x 12", scored at the 1/4" marks using my MS Score Board. The little cupcake is from Birthday Bash, cut at 2". I used my score board to add the little lines on the cupcake wrapper and added Glossy Accents to the little cherry! :)
The sentiment is from Scrappy Mom's Simple Sentiments. As usual, I added some white gel pen stitching to the black cardstock layer.
A strip of black ribbon across the center of the card was the perfect backdrop for the yellow card stock. I cut it into a banner and added five iridescent rhinestones.
The inside got decked out to match the front. This little trick really adds a wonderful touch to the inside of handmade cards and uses up some of those scraps that might otherwise find the bottom of a scrap bin. :)
We'd love for you to stop by Die Cuttin' Divas and enter the recipe challenge!
