Birthday Pocket Card

Today marks the start of another challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas.
This week the challenge is:

Here is my fun little card. I created an A2 pocket card. I used Kraft colored cardstock for the pocket and the green cardstock is from Recollections. I used my 1/4" corner chomper for the tag insert and the top two corners of the pocket. The pocket flap is folded at the 1 1/4" mark.

Here you can see the insert. I really like the simple design and colors.

I embossed the green layer (measuring 4" x 4 1/4") with a cuttlebug embossing folder. The flowers were die cut using my Cuttlebug and a set of die cuts from Heartfelt Creations called Posy Patch. This die cut set has a stamp set to go with it... and I just LOVE that!! These are thin dies like Spellbinders and cut wonderful little flowers. I used a ball embossing stylus to add dimension and attached them all together with a brad.

I attached three brads to the flap, added a Hero Arts Stamp from the Big Hugs set and attached the flap with a layer of foam tape.

The inside sentiment is from the same Hero Arts stamp set. A little black and white ribbon and this cute and simple card is finished.

We'd love for you to stop by Die Cuttin' Divas and enter the challenge!
The sponsor this week is Circle B Enterprises.

I think anyone would love the surprise of pulling out the message rather than opening a typical fold.

Looks great,
