Cupcake Gift Card Holder

Thanks for joining us today for the
Thankful Thursday It's a Wrap Blog Hop!!

If you've come from Jamie at Jamie711 Designs, you're in the right place.  If not, please jump back to Jenny's Blog to start at the beginning... you don't want to miss a stop!

Here are the items we've made for you! :) First is a cupcake shaped card with gift card holder, next is a cupcake wrapper and third is the cupcake topper.

As you can see I used the same 12" x 12" sheet of paper for all the projects:
Monkey Around Paper Pad by K Marcella

As you can see this card looks just like a cupcake! :) It opens up to reveal an adorable gift card holder too.  The most special thing about these projects is that I used Cri-kits pens to write out "Happy Birthday" (using Nate's ABCs). This card was created with Sweet Treats.

The top layer of the cupcake (the frosting layer) is DCWV glitter paper embossed with the D-Vine Swirls embossing folder.

The  cupcake top opens up first....
And then the bottom

Here is the wonderful gift card holder pocket! :) I used the same black glittery Cri-kits pen to accent the front and inside of the card.  Green and white craft twine adorns the front of the card.

Okay, on to the cupcake wrapper.  I didn't have a cartridge that has a cupcake wrap, so I had to create one... using Gypsy Wanderings! :)  WOW, was that ever a time consuming process.  I went ahead a made a bottom too, feel free to leave it out if you'd like to. Again, I drew the words in with a Cri-Kit pen before I cut the wrapper out.

Here are the cupcake wrapper and topper together.  My hubby was not upset that I had to make some cupcakes to take these pictures! :)  Again, I drew on the details for the topper and them cut and assembled it on a coffee stir stick.

Here are all the Gypsy files for these projects:

Cupcake wrapper and topper: cupcakewrapper.gypsy

Feel free to use them for your personal use, but please don't sell the files. If you'd like to share them with a friend,  please refer them to my blog to download them.

Thanks for visiting me today.

I love your Birthday set! I really need to get out my sweet treats cart and use it again soon. I wish I could use your G files but, my G decided to go black after the last update and Cricut says I need to buy a new one. I am so sad to loose the use of my G.
