Made by Momo Challenge: Hubby Challenge

Momo over at madebymomo.blogspot.com has the best challenge ever over on her blog!!  It's the "hubby challenge."  As much as I LOVED the challenge, my hubby was not the best sport.  With a little (okay, a lot) of prodding, my wonderful husband created this card for a very good buddy of his.

My husband, Roy, at the Cricut.
He used Paper Doll Dress up for the girl's top (3 1/2" on Real dial size). He needed help for the girl's body so I drew out the lines for her curves and he cut them out.  He also inked all the edges and tanned her body a little with a cotton ball and the ink. The background paper is from the DCWV summer stack from last year, is supposed to be a towel the girl is sunbathing on.
What better card for a guy to create??
This photo was updated when Roy decided to add the "Make a Wish"
to the bikini top on 09-22-10

And, of course the girl's top "comes off" (opens up).  Roy thought it was a good teaser for there to be the sentiment under her top instead... the "happy birthday" is a studio G stamp from Joann's (so is the "make a wish" on the top).

Wow, she even has tan lines!! :)
Okay that last picture is a little dark... she doesn't
look "Snooki" orange in person...
I'm sure my husband, Roy would love to hear your positive comments about his card... thanks so much!

Made by Momo Challenge

Tuesday Challenge Girly Affair!!!
Made by Momo posted a challenge last week: To make a project that is super girly. My project was a "waterfall card" I made for my neighbor Eve, who was turning 6 years old.

For those of you who don't know, a waterfall card is a animated card that moves when you pull the ribbon at the bottom. Take a look at the pictures, I'm sure you'll understand what I mean! :)
