Fabulous Fall Blog Hop: Day 3

Please remember to leave comments for the chance to win blog candy at the end of this three day hop!

I'll be having 7 prize packages to award on Monday, November 8th, 2010.

1. Goody bag #1 including fall themed card making supplies
2. Goody bag #2 including fall themed card making supplies
(donated by Sarah, Thanks so much!!)

(donated by Robyn at My Pink Stamper, Thanks so much!!)
(donated by Robyn at My Pink Stamper, Thanks so much!!)

Onto the third Project.

I used the following supplies for the centerpiece:
9" willow wreath from Dollar Tree
2 5' "Floral Garden" fall leaves garlands from Dollar Tree
$3 Mainstays candle from Walmart
EK Success vellum stickers for the fall maple
 leaves on the tag (WM-08)
Studio G stamp - Happy Thanksgiving
Studio 112 (by K and Company) $1 stamp for the leaves inside the card
Black embossing power and a heat gun on all the stamping
Cloud 9 Fall paper stack
Pop dots for the tag
floral wire to secure the garland to the willow wreath.

The wreath is super simple to make and pretty inexpensive.  Take the willow wreath and wrap the fall leaves garland around it.  Secure the ends with a little floral wire. Add the candle to the center (make sure to use a glass jar candle or hurricane to protect against fire danger).

For the tag, I just made a 3" x 6" piece of card stock (craft colored) and folded it in half to make a 3" x 3" tag.  I made the front decoration by matting the fall swirl paper (2 1/2" x 2 1/2") onto black card stock (2 3/4" x 2 3/4").  I then added the stickers and embossed the "Happy Thanksgiving" using black embossing powder and a heat gun. Mount the whole thing up on pop dots.

On the inside of the tag, I added a scrap of the paper and card stock.  Then I embossed the fall leaves in black. Punch a small hole in the top corner and you are done.

This whole project cost about $8 -- including the stamps!!

Okay, that's my project for the second day of the blog hop.  Please hop along to the next stop to see what Jen has up her wonderfully crafty sleeves:

Here are the lineup of all fabulous ladies that will be sharing their talent:
