Merry Christmas!

I just wanted to post a quick Christmas greeting to all my blogging friends!!  I've been super busy with presents, wrapping etc.  On top of all the usual busyness... my SIL told me last week that instead of a present she wanted an assortment of handmade cards for Christmas.  While I am always looking for an excuse to craft, could she have asked me at a WORSE time??

Anyway, I whipped out 16 handmade cards and a gift bag for them to be wrapped in.  It took me all day yesterday, but I got it finished and I love them.
All cuts were from Create a Critter at 3 1/2".

Two monkey boy birthday cards.
I added three faux eyelets to the side.

Two "Get whale soon" cards.  I added three blue buttons to each.
The lighter whale is glitter paper from DCWV.

Two blank cards.  I love that little worm. :)

Two love bug cards.  The stamp says "xoxo" and is from Studio G.
I used pink holographic paper for the bugs and added dark pink rhinestones.

Two "hello" cards with a zebra.  I just love the BG paper too!
His nose is silver metallic paper (hence the shine).

More pink holographic paper on this cutie. I also used glitter pink plaid paper.
The card base is a DCWV pre-made card with glitter accents.
These are girl birthday cards with a cute Studio G stamp inside.

More silver metallic paper here. Don't the raccoons look adorable! :)
These cards are blank inside.

Two "hello" cards.  The stamp is from Scrappy Mom's Stamps.

I added the white gel pen accents to each and every card (and added the shine in the critter's eyes).  It took a long time, but sure adds a lot!

On Saturday, my FIL asked for 20 more Christmas cards (in addition to the 20 I already made him).  Yep, he asked for 20 more Christmas cards on December 19th!! Well, I took a few hours and whipped up these cards for him.
Doodlecharms Santa - Studio G stamp - complete with glimmer mist
Inside sentiment reads "Merry Christmas to you" by Studio G
I made these cards to fit a ton of envelopes I already had. I have no idea where I got them, but I have a whole box of 200!! The cards measure 6" x 3 1/2".  I think it's a cute unique sized card.

Thanks for stopping by!! I wish each and every one of you a wonderful  and SAFE holiday season.  May 2011 be prosperous and crafty for all of you!
