My kid's are reading machines and I love it!!
The hippo is from Create a Critter (cut @ 2 1/2") I hid the flower
on the hippo because it's for my 6-year-old son.
The water and the grass is all cut at 1". I put Glossy Accents on the water and used my white Gelly Roll pen to add stitches on the hippo's shadow, the blades of grass and around the body of the bookmark.
The sun is alse from Create A Critter cut at 3", the cloud is cut at 2 1/2". I applied blue ink with a dauber to the edges of the cloud. Again I used my white Gelly Roll pen to add stitches on the sun's shadow and around the body of the bookmark.
The base of the bookmark is cut at 8 1/2" x 2 1/4". I creating the
bookmark reading log file last summer but have been using
it on a semi-regular basis ever since!! :)
Each box on the reading log includes a place for:
total time reading, parent initials and date.
In the meantime, here is the PDF file for you to use for your kids,
classroom etc. Personal use only PLEASE!! :)
The file includes four reading log lists
(enough for two full, double sided bookmarks).
You can get a total of four bookmarks per 8 1/2"x11" piece of card stock.
This is a jpg of the pdf file.
I included three file share programs for you to download with.
Hopefully you'll have no problems, but please email
me if you need me to attach the pdf in an email directly to you.

P.S.
My children are reading machines, too! My eight year old just finished the Harry Potter series and has read over 2 million words this year. Have you heard of Accelerated Reader? If you go to their web site, you can find out the reading levels (by school grade & month) and number of words read. Your kids might get a kick out of it! I find that it motivates my children to read even more (& how could that be possible?!).
Nice job! Those are such cute bookmarks. Thanks for sharing
