Ice Cream Cone Anyone??

Okay, I've said it before... I am addicted to sharped cards!!

Here is one I made for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge (Shaped Cards)

The ice cream is from Sweet Treats (cut @ 6 1/2" on my Gypsy).  I made it into not only a shaped card, but also one that opens up two ways. All the patterned paper is from Heidi Grace.

I used a punch I have for the little tag using paper scraps that match the ice cream top. The stamp is from Studio G.

The paper was just an adorable polka-dot to start with, but I added Stickles to all the little dots and it added such cute sparkle.

I didn't have any embossing folders that would make the waffle pattern on the ice cream cone, so I used my Martha Stewart score board and made the pattern by scoring every 1/8" on the diagonal.  I then inked the edges and surface of the cone to get this look.

Inside, I added a Scrappy Mom's Happy Birthday stamp.

Here is what the card looks like opened up all the way.  So cute right?? :)

Do you know about a challenge that I missed?? Would my card be perfect for another challenge?? Please let me know. I love letting people know if their wonderful cards would fit in a challenge they would have otherwise missed.

Big and special thank you to Sharon for helping me find another challenge!! Crazy for Cricut : Anything goes + use your Cricut

This is super!! The first thing I noticed was the cone and was thinking that I MUST get that folder. Now I know that I just need to use my score board. How clever! I love all the stickles on the ice cream too.
Thanks so much for playing along at FCCB this week!

I love this card. Did you make a gypsy download for it? Or can you let me know how you put it together so it could open top and bottom. Did you meld 3 together then cut?

Cheryl,

I can't wait to play around with my Gypsy! You come up with the best, most unique cards!!! :) I love the way this one opens! And I was wondering what embossing folder you used-you did a great job scoring it by hand!

Thanks for sharing,

Jennifer
