I have a very manly card to share today. I made it for a man named Robert who is battling lung cancer. Michelle over at Queen of my Craftroom is organizing a card drive for him. Please jump over to Michelle's blog to get all the info and a mailing address for your cards.
Here is my card. I really wanted to make a manly card for Robert. I printed the sentiment on my computer and fit everything for my card base (it's an A2 - 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"). The black layer is cut at 4" x 5 1/4" and the blue layer is 3 3/4" x 5". I then rounded the corners using my 1/2" Corner Chomper.
I used my white Gelly Roll gel pen to add doodles all around the card body and it's layers, the truck and also on the inside of the card.
I centered a Scrappy Mom's Stamps in the inside. I thought it was a perfect sentiment reading:
"With Prayers & Positive Thoughts"
Please head over to Michelle's Blog at Queen of My Craftroom
and send off some well wishes to Robert and his family.

Cheryl,
What a great masculine card & such a sweet gesture!!! :) I wish my craft room wasn't sitting in boxes on my living room floor (my cabinets FINALLY got delivered Monday & will be installed this Sunday...just have to wait a few weeks for counters & then I can unpack again-which could take a few days!). I miss making cards for the hospice patients!
Thank you for sharing!
Crafty hugs,
Jennifer
