Perpetual Birthday Calenders

Hi everyone.  If you haven't entered my 400 follower giveaway or my Post-it Blog Hop blog candy drawing, please take a second and comment on those posts to be in the drawings to win!!

Today I have a perpetual birthday calender to share.  I told you all about the PTA President asking me to design some items for our school's auction.  I made the "Mom, I'm bored" jar already.  I also made an Everyday card set and a set of 12 note cards for the auction.

Here is the first set using Heidi Grace (baby girl) paper.  All the little pink birds are velvet!! :)
Please click on the images to see them in more detail.

Here is the second calender: it's using Cloud 9 Designs ( Sparkle Celebration dots and Sparkle Cinnamon Burst). Again, feel free to click on the pictures to see more detail.

Okay, let's get this post more interesting!!!
Here is a link for you to download my PDF of the calender pages:

I cut all the month slips to 3 1/2" by 10".  The pattern paper is cut to 4" x 11 3/4" and the covers are cut to 4 1/2" x 12".  I used my Zutter Bind-it-All to bind the top of the calender.

I made the hanger with a 1/4" dowel and a couple of rubber caps.  I put a hole in the end of the cap and laced a hanger and knotted it and tucked it inside the cap.

Now to change the calender page, all you have to do is uncap the dowel and pull it out, flip the page and re-insert the dowel and cap.

I love this calender!! If you are like me, I like to make cards to all my family members (birthdays, anniversaries etc.) and this is a wonderful way to keep all that info in one place without having to transfer them to a new calender every year. :)
