Shamrock Shadow Box Display

Welcome to the Lucky Leprechaun Blog Hop!
If you came from Nicollette's blog at Beyond Scrappin', you are in the right place.

Today I have a home decor project to share. My 9 year old, Bryce, is going to present this gift to his teacher for St. Patrick's Day!
I started out with a shadow box from S.E.I., I then covered it with patterned paper (also from S.E.I.).  I put a piece of cork as the backer and placed the nine shamrocks inside.

These are photographs of four leaf clovers that I printed onto white cardstock. I then used an embossing stylus to round the back of the leaves. Then using pop dots, I attached the clovers. This technique sure gives them wonderful dimension. These cute little labels give the display the look of a scientific collection.

I hot glued this yellow handmade crumpled flower to the corner adorning the color change ribbon. I don't know if you can tell from the pictures, but the ribbon changes from dark green to hues of purple and gold.

This is the little tag is a sentiment I just HAD to create! I used Photoshop to make it, sized it to fit my Photo Label punch by EK Success. I added some more ribbon, a cardstock accent and three flat-back pearls too.

Here you can see some more of the terrific texture and dimension in this home decor project. I love how simple and lovely it is.

Fantastic! I didn't even realize SEI did shadow boxes. I love how you used that corkboard- I have a couple of sheets of it but hadn't really known what to do with it. rlovew1976@yahoo.com

Your clovers look so real. This is a great keepsake. I so like that you ventured out to make your own digi stamp (tag).
