Wacky Wednesday #9 - Circle and Scallop Challenge
Here is my entry for the wacky Wednesday challenge. It's a birthday card that has a birthday hat front and center. I grabbed the scallop frames from Accent Essentials, but used Cricut Design Studio to make the finished size of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (the blue stripy frame) and 3 3/4" x 5" (the blue polka dot frame).
The party hat was cut at 3 1/2" from Celebrations cart. I cut it out with a turquoise blue card stock and a silver mirrored card stock.
The center of the frame also has mirrored card stock. The "happy birthday" stamp is an older one from Studio G. The sentiment is stamped on white card stock, then matted on the matching turquoise paper and then mounted on the mirrored paper.
The whole card is accented with black sharpie (thin point) "stitching." The whole thing is mounted on a white card stock base. The inside is decorated with the inside of the scallop frames.
