"Love is so Tweet" cards

Today is Paper Playtime Digi DT day!! YEAH!!
The theme for this challenge is "Love / Marriage."

I am featuring digital stamps by Doodle Pantry.
This project includes images from the Love Birdies Set.

I made two cards with the same digis.  I think these would be wonderful anniversary cards.

As you can see, I colored the digi with my image editing software (I use Photo Shop).I added some clouds in the back ground and put the birdies and the sentiment in an oval. With my Gypsy Wanderings, I cut out the scalloped ovals. I set some rhinestones around the oval scallops.

Here is a close up of the sentiment. The white scalloped oval is shimmer paper, I just love the sheen.

I tied the blue satin ribbon into a double looped bow with my Bow Easy.

.
I hope you can see all the dimension in the colors on this digi.  I colored the wings in with four differnet blue hues to show the shadows. The "Home Tweet Home" on the little birdie's sign is another sentiment included with the Love Birdies set from Doodle Pantry.

And here is my second card using the same images from the Love Birdies digi set.

I used DCWV dark blue glitter paper for the accents on this card, but all the sizes and layout is nearly the same.

I even added paper tails on the sentiment block with scraps of the glitter paper.

The birdies on this card are a lighter blue. You can easily see the depth in the bird's wings on this one! :)

How did you get your bow to look perfect? I still have to try a few times. Send me a tip!

I really like both cards. I love the dark blue on the first one, but then the shimmer on the second is very nice too.

Both cards are just fabulous! Love that incredible bow and the gingham paper on the first one, and the glitter paper on the second looks amazing, too. Your colouring on both is superb. :)
