Strength, Love, Faith, Courage and Hope

Here is a set of cards I created for a couple of challenges. They are listed at the end of this post. If you have time to craft, please consider working Robyn's "cards for a cause" in to your crafting time.

These are standard A2 cards.  The black and white polka-dot paper is from DCWV's Stack 7, the pink paper is scraps of some Heidi Grace paper. I also used some black seam binding ribbon and my white gel pen. I created the sentiment using Photoshop, you can see the sentiment best at the bottom of this post.

I printed the sentiment onto pink cardstock and mounted it on white card stock.  Then this block is mounted up on pop dots.

The inside of the card is decorated with scraps of the different papers I used. There are two versions of this card, and the inside paper is mounted on the coordinating side (if the ribbon on the front is on the right side, the inside decoration is also on the right side).

Here you can see how they are all very similar, but the layout is flipped.  I attached the sentiment block to the center of all the cards. I love the simple color scheme.

Here is one last look at the card set.

This is the sentiment block I created for this card. Each word is in a different font.  With these powerful words of encouragement, I just fell in love with it.

Have an Udderly Amazing Day!

I pulled out the My Pink Stamper Punny-licious stamps today. Here is the cute card I came up with! :)
The cow is cut from From my Kitchen at 2 3/4", the cow bell and collar are from Just Because Cards (the sheep button) cut at 7".  I mounted her up on pop dots.

The sentiment is from two different stamps from My Pink Stampers Punny-licious set.

I doodled all around the card (including ON the cow).  The border punch is called Effervesce by Fiskars. I also added two lengths of 1/8" red gros grain ribbon... I wanted a thicker band of ribbon but didn't have thicker red ribbon.

I added a little more patterned paper (from DCWV, Stack 7).  I love this plaid paper, it reminds me of a picnic table! :) I hope you like this card as much as I do.

If you have any questions, feel free to leave them in a comment or use the "Need to Contact me?" tab at the top of my blog.
